Miss Scarlett ~ Colorado Springs birth photographer

One of the main reasons I went to Nevada last week was to see this brand new little munchkin. Her Mama and I are close friends and were both pregnant with baby #4. We will both have 3 boys and one girl but in reversed order. Miss Scarlett was very much anticipated as the first girl after 3 boys and we all swooned over her. I promise you, she will not have a shortage of pink clothes and accessories. She is already a diva! I got to snuggle her lots and also see a glimpse of what my life will look like with 4 kids in October. It was LOVELY! I did other sessions in Nevada that I’ll be showing you over the next few weeks too.

I am still so amazed and what KIND clients I get to work with. They have the most amazing hearts! This family was SO sweet! Just wait till you see their video (tomorrow) and you’ll know what I mean.

Fraternal twins ~ Denver photographer for twins

This session definitely took a lot energy since it was of one-year old fraternal twins along with their big sister.

Who needs aerobics when I’ve got sessions like these?

But it was also oh-so fun! These kids were so cute and full of energy!

I just got such a kick out of the way they interacted with each other and with their big sister.

I give major kudos to their Mama (who is the sweetest lady ever!)

I love having pics of my kids all throughout my house…even in the bathroom. I already have a cute storyboard of my older two in towels hanging in the bathroom but I needed something to display of my youngest. I stumbled upon this photo from my archives and it just makes me smile. We used to give him baths in the sink all the time and he LOVED it! I just can’t get enough of a naked baby in a sink full of bubbles. Maybe it’s because you can only do that for so long. Can’t wait to give sink baths to baby #4.

Remember these newborn pictures? Well time flies and now she is a 6 months old, sitting up and interacting. I have done several sessions with her and her family and just ADORE them! She is sure to be sweet because her parents are such sweet people. You can tell that they love having a little girl in the family.

I think I’ve found my natural-light studio…in my dining room!

This session went really well and I think it’s because I had an assistant to help me out. I could not have attempted the hanging baby photos without one! It also helped that the baby just slept and slept through all of the new ideas we were trying out. I think that has much to do with the fact that she is baby number three. With two older brothers, I’m sure she has just learned to block out the noise to get any sleep!

I will be in Nevada the rest of the week hanging with my girls, photographing some Baby Plan clients and a WEDDING! Phew–I’m excited (and exhausted) just thinking about it!

This baby had the prettiest, most peachy skin like her Mama. Her middle name is Rose and so I couldn’t resist putting a rose headband on her for some of her images. So sweet!
