My LOVELY friend, Leah (see her self portrait below), at Go{4}ProPhotography (a fabulous educational blog for photographers) is holding a very fun contest for photographers and I have been asked to be one of the judges.

Here’s the deal: Create a SELF PORTRAIT! With that Self Portrait you can either write a creative “About Me” page (but you have to post it as a blog post as well to count here) or you can write a blog post about the experience of creating this image. Which ever way you choose to write, your Self Portrait Submission must come with a directly linked BLOG post to Go4Pro Blog. Use the linky tool on the Go4Pro Blog to show us your self portrait and link to your blog post entry.

The Rules….

1. The linky image must be your SELF PORTRAIT submission, Please name it your name or your photography business name.

2. When we click the link it must take us directly to your submission blog post that has your self portrait and either your creative ‘About Me content’ or a post about what having this picture means to you.

3. You must reference and link Go{4}Pro in the post.

4. All entries must be made by December 15th (you have 3 weeks!) GOOD LUCK!

{FAQ’s}

When does the course begin and how long will it last?

The course is 6 weeks long and goes from January 3rd- February 13th 2010.  The main focus of the course will be building your boutique business foundation with one jam-packed bonus photo lesson.

Will I be able to attend your Alumni Meet-up at WPPI in February?

Yes!  You are encouraged to attend this one since it will occur right after the course ends.  What a great way to meet all of the new friends you will have made!

Will you be offering workshops in 2011?

Kelli will only be offering personal workshops in 2011.  Get 9 years of info in one day!  This is the perfect solution for busy photographers who need to revolutionize their business quickly. More details are found on the Francypants Academy website.

I work full-time and/or have lots of little ones at home, will I still have time for the course?

All lessons are also given as live, interactive webinars on Monday evenings at 8 pm MST to enhance the lesson materials and answer your questions. Then, lessons & assignments are emailed to you on Tuesdays as printable PDF’s and are also available in the *new* 200 page workbook that is included in the course. Assignments are due on your the day you sign-up for, leaving you at least an entire week to read and apply your learning at your own convenience & leisure.  

How do I register?

Please email francephotography@gmail.com with the subject line being “REGISTRATION” and include your contact information (including your Paypal email address). A Paypal invoice for a 50% deposit of $597.50 will be sent to the FIRST 9 people. This needs to be paid within 24 hours otherwise your spot will be given to the next applicant in line.  The remaining 50% will be due the Saturday before your course begins.
