Don’t get me wrong, I LOOOOOOVE blogging BUT a girl can only do so much. If you’ve ever read my BonjOrganization guide, you’ll probably remember me talking about making a “NOT TO DO LIST.” Well, that’s what I’m doing right now to keep my sanity and the beds made. I’m trying to get over my Wonder Woman complex and remember that I cannot do it all.

For the next 2 months, I’ll be busy consulting 30+ photography students through Francypants Academy. With my classes, a new baby, and a new forum for photographers (for a total of 3 businesses and 4 kids!) things are pret-ty busy around here.

I’m happy and so in love with little Max so don’t you worry your pretty little head about me. Somethin’s gotta give though.

I hope I can be an example to you of not being afraid to say NO in order to do what’s best for you and your family.

When I come back to the blog, I’ll be so refreshed and have tons to share with you including:

It’s also my daughter’s birthday today. I told her not to come on my birthday but as usual, she did whatever she wanted and came anyways. So it’s a DOUBLE celebration!

And unlike most people who say they **don’t** want something for their birthday, I actually DO want something for my birthday from YOU!

What I want from you for my birthday is to help me find a family for this little girl.

It’s been a nonstop, crazy-busy couple of weeks and so I took a little bloggie break.

Now I’m taking another blog-cation while we take the TRAIN to Utah to go to my sister’s wedding.

It’s so fun to take the train. It’s much more of a bonding experience than it is tossing crackers to the kids in the back of the minivan.

We tell the kids that we’re riding “The Polar Express” and they just love it. We play cards, watch movies, put together Legos and puzzles, nap, look out the window at the gorgeous scenery and just enjoy each others’ company.

I just recently read a quote I love that said “The most precious ‘present’ you can give is the gift of your presence.”  That’s what we’ll be doing on the train…giving our children the gift of our presence. Looking them in the face and listening and enjoying their presence and giving them our presence. I’m really looking forward to it.

I’m behind on posting sessions from this Fall. I’ll catch up sooner or later. But for now I’m going to be in the present with my kids.

Hope you get to spend some down time with your kiddos too. Give them the gift of your presence.

I don’t talk about Mr. Francypants much but he is my rock. He is SO super supportive of everything I do. I think husbands with photographer’s as wives kinda have to be (either that or they learn to be). I’m sure your man is very supportive of you and ultimately just wants you to be happy.

Stretchy pants, cereal for dinner (again), bags under my eyes, and an overflowing inbox and laundry basket are all my reality right now.

But when I sit and rock him in the quiet of my bedroom and smell his perfect baby scent, it seems like the world stands still for just a tiny moment.
