France Photography now offers make-up with EVERY SESSION!

I was very hesitant to using a make-up artist for my sessions. What if my clients hate the way the make-up looked afterwards? So I talked myself out of it.

In 2012, I finally decided to try it with a client. After her make-up was finished, she looked in the mirror and GASPED IN AWE!

Here is how she felt and reacted in her own words:

“Getting maternity photos was one of the highlights in my pregnancy. However, I felt I lacked that “pregnancy glow” everyone talked about. I wanted to look beautiful for my maternity shoot and I did! Charlene did an amazing job with my make-up. She made me look like me without overdoing it. I felt like a whole new person. I honestly felt beautiful for the first time during my pregnancy and had this huge boost of confidence during the photo shoot. The beauty and confidence I felt showed through the photos and I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome. It truly was one of the highlights of my pregnancy!” ~Jessica Rey

It’s not really about the make-up. It’s about how you FEEL with the make-up on. When we FEEL good, we shine with confidence and beauty! My client’s confidence radiated in her portraits.

After this client’s experience, I was sold! I did a Mother-Daughter session with a make-up artist and here’s what the Mom said about her daughter’s experience:

“I was so excited, because here was an opportunity for my daughter to finally see what we could all see in her – through photographs. Kelli captured the light that was hiding inside my daughter and helped her to shine again on the outside.  It was so fun to see my daughter posing and laughing, and just having fun.  It was very apparent to us that she was a beautiful girl, but I could tell that she was starting to feel it herself. When we saw the images for the first time, I could see that Kelli had really captured her outer and inner beauty.  My daughter thrived on the compliments, but more importantly she could now see through these photographs what the world had always known - that she is beautiful.“

Now my only regret is that I didn’t use a make-up artist sooner!

Life has been craaaaazy these past couple months!

We decided to leave Colorado and move closer to my family in Utah so we packed up and headed out super fast!

It was a whirlwind of boxes and chaos but we survived.

We had so much “schtuff” that we filled up a 4-bedroom Uhaul to the brim!

When we arrived in Zion (ha-ha) I told Matt I wanted to just drive the U-haul off the cliff and be rid of all of it.

But alas, we are starting to see the light of the living room (it was wall-to-wall with boxes).

Anyhoo, I also got a new blog design which I’m freaking excited about.

I will now be blogging here instead of on my Francypants Blog. 

I hope to blog a LOT more often because I have so many sessions to share with you so don’t go away.
